intro:

Public relation is a very vast topic that has many definitions to it, but I think that public relation defines the profession where a group of employees communicate and plan a massage to their audiences. Public relation is used in many areas in industries such as business, education, health, government and even non-profit organizations. PR studies were just introduced in universities in the late 1960’s but it only become popular during the 1999’s.
People usually misunderstand the differences among marketing, advertising and public relation. Marketing is involved with the organization’s profit, while advertising is mainly dealing with promoting the product in newspapers, radio or television. Although there are areas that public relations have similar jobs as marketing and advertising but PR usually revolves around communicating with the media, organizing events, managing issues or even crises. Today the PR industries are growing rapidly, it can be a soul pr company or a pr team in an industry but it has become a very important area in industries today, as public relations are responsible for having a bridge of communication between the company and the public.
